I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it until I die: Mitch McConnell is the single most destructive American politician since John C. Calhoun. And Calhoun basically single handedly caused the civil war.
And it was Mitch McConnell who made it possible by letting Trump off the hook on impeachment, and Kevin McCarthy who proactively brought Trump back into the GOP fold.

I honestly think James Cameron’s secret is that he knows he’s really good at what he does, so he does exactly enough of it to fund doing weird shit with deep sea submersibles, which is what he actually cares about. I respect this
I honestly think James Cameron's secret is that he desperately wants the audience to think his movies are cool as hell. He's not snobbishly making films purely to impress critics and other filmmakers OR cynically cranking out slop. He wants expertly-crafted crowd-pleasers.

All you really need to understand about water usage in the western United States is that every single use - even the ones that sound egregiously wasteful like AI data centers - rounds down to 0 compared to what irrigated agriculture uses
