Like KDH got a week and what they added was pretty fun, but it's replaced with pumpkin and thorny overgrowth, spooky cornfields, movie murderers and Doja Cat being Mistress of All Evil.

Not objecting to Doja Cat Halloween stuff, it's just last season was very consistent with its Teen Titans vibe.

Current season is giving me real tonal whiplash.

Start with Alien/Starship Trooperish bug hunt. Transition into Power Rangers because Rita made some bugs bigger. Okay, not too weird.

Threat averted. Bugs gone. Kpop Demon Hunters emerge.

Don't sleep on Absolum. Dotemu and Guard Crush's follow-up to Streets of Rage 4 combines meaningful variety with crunchy mechanical depth, and its story about the rise and effects of tyranny inspired ~700 words of analysis out of me. Professors did not often specify formatting, so I did ten-point Ariel font double-spaced for anything. Got papers done 2x faster that way.

Probably helps also I wrote for the campus paper very prolifically. Having a breezy style makes people question less.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

I remember working at McDonald's and sometimes a meal rung up at $6.66 (impossible now, I know) and it spooked customers enough to ask to add an apple pie or cookies.

I’d also add the new version’s font is way more legible. The actors are from the same kind of talent pool they used for FFXII, XIV, and XVI.

But on PS1, lines would be like:

“Blame yourself. Or God.“

vs. other versions:

“It is your faith that betrays you, not I.”

The latter suits the setting.
