Offshore wind now provides over 1/6 of UK power

Success was not inevitable, and it continues to be a battle against the fossil fuel industries

Greenpeace UK has been part of the fight

Great piece on the failure of centrist governments in the UK, France, and Germany to give voters anything to actually vote for and their fueling of the far-right by elevating its message, and the contrast that Spain offers.

Opinion: Over 40% of Oklahoma’s energy generation comes from wind turbines and solar companies are showing increased interest in building projects in the state. Oklahoma’s position as a top-tier renewable energy producer may fade following the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill.

Cuts are expected to drive up electricity bills across the U.S., with some of the sharpest increases in Republican-led states, according to Energy Innovation, a nonpartisan think tank.

My Republican colleagues still have a chance to stop this – the time to act is now.
