This is absolute bullshit.
BRENNAN: Tell me about the officer, Jonathan Ross

KRISTI NOEM: Don't say his name! I mean, for heaven's sake, we shouldn't have people continue to dox law enforcement

BRENNAN: His name is public

NOEM: I know, but that doesn't mean it should continue to be said

Take heart, Americans! Yes, you're loaded with micro plastics; yes, cancer runs rampant and ancient pandemics stalk the land anew, but you'll be happy to know we finally got an effective treatment for men with bent cranks.

This is exactly right. The white kids and adults I know who know the true history of the United States and Colonialism don't feel bad or guilty; they feel angry, in community with their peers of other races, and empowered to push for change. Enlightened white people are dangerous to the hegemony.
This is my song. “Those are the real stakes — not white children feeling guilty, but white children armed with truth, history and a righteous desire to work with others to change the world.”

I cannot stress how much better Ian's Secure Knot is over the standard "bunny ears" method. Ian also told me he goes out of his way to use common vernacular instead of standard knotting terms laid out in The Ashley Book of Knots. www.fieggen.com/shoelace/sec...

3. Snow Bear (2025)

Aaron Blaise did a really amazing job on this film! The animations on the polar bear as well as the other animals were incredible, the background art was breathtaking, and the music was wonderful. Always nice to see more love for traditional animation.

If you're a writer, wondering why you should bother writing with the world on fire. It feels like it's not important, I need you to understand that it is.

Even if it is just because it keeps you moving forward? Even if it only brings YOU joy, that gives you energy to fight & survive.

LLMs are spam generators. That is all.

They're designed to generate plausibly human-like text well enough to pass a generic Turing Test. That's why people believe they're "intelligent".

But really, all they are is spam generators.

We have hit the spamularity.

Speaking as a Hoosier who remembers, there was nothing charming about Tony Kiritsis wiring a shotgun around a lender's neck. The movie may be good but the reality was ugly.

What we are seeing in Minnesota is what authoritarianism looks like in real time. Racism, dehumanization, and state-sanctioned violence are tearing at the foundation of this country.

As a single, elderly woman with a hands-on tech job (and I look the part), my interactions with medical types other than doctors are almost uniformly bad. They treat me like trash. I can't imagine how much worse it is for more marginalized people.
