This is literal treason.
It is a scandal totally unprecedented in history that the Vice President has shared a video depicting the President as king. It’s an obscene violation of every founding American principle.

And nothing will come of it. It makes me physically sick.
Literal treason from the VP.
Don't forget "No slaves".
NO KINGS
NO SLAVES
NO NAZIS

Washington, Lincoln, FDR - the three transformationsl Presidents that defined the American identity.
Amazing that “No kings and no Nazis” is suddenly a controversial slogan and up for debate in 2025. These are the two most basic creeds of American history.

The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.

Donald Trump and his regime have committed at least 20 of those same offenses highlighted in yellow.
#NoKings
The equating of being cynical with somehow having a sophisticated perspective of the world has been incredibly destructive.

Earnestness built our society, democracy, and the entire modern world we take for granted.
After 2024, pundits brushed off the Resistance as cringe. I submit: Yes, it was. And cringe is good. Cringe, in fact, will save democracy.
Resistance Is Cringe
But it’s also effective.

Virginia, as your next Governor, I’ll get to work on Day One to tackle the most pressing issue that Virginians are facing — rising costs.

From housing, to healthcare, to energy, I’ll work to lower costs and make life easier for Virginians across the Commonwealth.

The reason they're coming after this place is because they can't control the people on it and it drives them nuts.
That's been the case historically as well. Both Napoleon III and Hitler were initially seen as utter buffoons at the time.

Wow. Sidney Reid, the DC woman just found not guilty of assaulting an FBI agent, issues a withering and gutsy statement on Trump through her attorneys.

"I feel sorry for the prosecutors really, who must be burdened by Trump's irrational and unfounded hatred for his fellow man."

It's a must-read:
Agree. Democrats need to realize their job is electioneering as much as policy. Policy importance of Argentina is close to nil, but it's a massive election weapon that they need to make use of.

A report by The Washington Post found that roughly $22.8 billion of taxpayer money was allocated to Musk's companies within the last five years

He's using your money to "purchase" a vehicle his company produced and can't sell

This is textbook racketeering
There should be a prohibition against personal lawsuits during the occupancy of the Presidency.
Also wholly replaceable and contributed nothing historically. If his endeavor had resulted in his ships and crew at the bottom of the ocean, the world would not be substantially different.

Single achievement was being lucky. Massive techbro vibes.
I recall the anecdote from "The Emperor" which is a history of the collapse of the regime and an interesting read.

Searching online this was in 1968 and actually a counter-protest at the same time as a fashion show to both hide the organizational work and to protest Western influence.
One of the key protests that led to Haile Selassie being overthrown was a fashion show.
Maybe not automatic charges, but at the very least a personnel file entry and an outside independent review.
God, but I just can't quit California.
Tucker is maneuvering to take the MAGA crown when dear leader departs.
American policy bought and paid for by the highest bidder (Qatar) and the blackmailer (Putin).
Pritzker's strategy of calling out his dementia constantly is probably the best course to limit damage to the country.
