Same goes if you work in education…

…and is one of the reasons for ‘Clean Up Your Mess’.
If you work in management and basically your entire job is to make presentations, perhaps you should get an absolute fucking minimum set of skills to author them succinctly and make them look good, rather than going "hey is anyone here good at Powerpoint" right before the meeting

Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

“Independent work to examine how reducing unnecessary bureaucracy can improve teacher workload…”

Fair enough, it’s only been over *a dozen years* since there was a group/report on ‘tackling bureaucracy’.

There it is. Our national broadcaster living in fear of the most openly corrupt US president in American history. This is where the British patriots on the right have got us.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

New post: Expertise, Government, the Media and Covid

The Covid inquiry shows not just political failure on a deadly scale, but of media failure to transmit expertise and to hold to account politicians that let tens of thousands die unnecessarily.
