Important to be clear here that the proposed homes wouldn't mean demolishing the 18th century garden - it's just that they might possibly be visible from it. What appallingly selfish behaviour.

Wait do I have it correct that Joyce Carol Oates said Musk was a shell of a man with no joy in his life and he totally saw it and said "No I'm not" and now he's searching the titles of different movies he likes and replying "great movie"

Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)

Your tamagotchi had a rich inner life and the equivalent of 37 doctorates. Why not.
Bahahahahaha The New York Times just printed an opinion piece declaring "AI is intelligent, so long as we redefine what intelligence means to include it. And soon AI will be conscious, because we'll just redefine consciousness too!"

Nothing means anything! Yay!

I would go further. I think that, to make sure the BBC does not forget the importance to the British people of defending our borders, it should be required to read out a page of A History of the World in 47 Borders at the start of every programme.
Rage against group think, writes Matthew Syed in the Sunday Times, by reading out a paragraph of what *I* think at the beginning of every BBC editorial meeting.

I wish Del Toro’s Frankenstein was a more comprehensive look at the monster’s life. They never cover when he met Abbott and Costello, for example.

I mean, if some kid at the BBC had said Rod Liddle is a truthless bigot and a shitehawk who should be nowhere near a current affairs show, is that wrong? Of course it isn’t wrong, it’s precisely correct. But what, we should be terrified of it because it upsets some of Britain’s worst shitheads? Nope

[on my quarterly earnings call]

ok good news, bad news

good news: its the largest ever by a tech company
ICYMI: Microsoft’s charge “implies a more than $12 billion quarterly loss at OpenAI, said Firoz Valliji, an analyst at Bernstein.”

That “would mark one of the largest single-quarter losses for a tech company in history.”

There’s a movie coming up about Mother Ann that looks worth looking into.
It’s got that Amanda Seyfried in.
