people for sure started treating me worse once i came out and it took awhile to catch on, to my horror, that’s them gendering me correctly as a woman.
like I'm not saying we're intrinsically corrupted to the core, I'm saying being raised as a guy leads to an understanding that people will not treat you in ways that they absolutely will when you stop claiming to be that, and that this leads to lashing out and cruelty and other bad coping mechanisms
