My theory is that this guy's porn addiction is so severe that he simply cannot open a laptop or look at a phone to read the news without getting distracted
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

I agree. "Affordability" is a hoax... started by the media to replace the term "inflation"

Just call it inflation. We already had a word for it, and this guy campaigned exclusively on reducing it, and didn't. Why are we handing him a win by giving him a terminology change that HE DOESN'T EVEN WANT?
Q: You talk about affordability. Are the American people getting impatient with the reforms you're making?

TRUMP: I think they're getting fake news from guys like you. Look, affordability is a hoax that was started by Democrats.

I was told that the older I get, the more conservative I would get. This has turned out to be comically untrue.

This is why military service members should refuse to follow illegal orders. Because when the shit hits the fan, Trunp and Hegseth will deny everything and blame you. bsky.app/profile/acyn...
Reporter: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order

Leavitt: The latter is true

REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

I should have tried out homeassistant long before now. This thing solves most of my home automation frustrations, despite the clunky interface and general tediousness of working with such a tool.

Honestly THIS particular thing feels like, if we can't get him removed from power based on it, we really are truly cooked as a nation.

It is the literal go-to "example of a war crime" whose evilness is so self-evident that it sets the bar in the textbooks for military ethics.

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

Cannot overstate what a tremendous loss it is to the cinematic arts that the director of Terminator 1 and 2, Aliens, The Abyss, Titanic, and True Lies will have spent over TWO DECADES of his career devoted almost entirely to the development of the Avatar franchise.

Trump's ICE goon rejects hired off the street and failing basic fitness tests aren't about to storm into a nest of actual criminals where they could get hurt. They're targeting churches, schools, work sites, and neighborhoods because those people aren't going to fight them.
This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

Yet another unforced error. Kelly had largely been backburnered out of the public eye after he wasn't chosen as Kamala's VP.

This will force him into national prominence, just like Trump's nonsense against Newsom and Pritzker. Then man is unintentionally helping fill the Democratic bench.

I think you have to be straight-up bad at math to disbelieve Aliens *EXIST*.

But you also have to be bad at math to believe that they exist at the same time as humanity at distances to our planet that could be physically traversable within the time span of our existence so far.
New polling on aliens
% of U.S. adult citizens who believe the following definitely or probably exist:
Aliens 56%
Bigfoot 28%
The Yeti 23%
The Loch Ness Monster 22%
Chupacabra 16%
