Pep Guardiola on refs: ‘I'm one decade here and we know each other quite well. I'm so pleased what we achieved with Man City despite everything. It has been so good. So good.’

What else is one decade? The length of City’s alleged cheating of PL financial rules.

And still we wait for a verdict.

Independent bookstores are donating to food banks and organizations that help with food insecurity.

They are not the same.

Man City's defeat at the weekend was strange because it didn't really illicit any sort of reaction. Is their title race over? (nope) Is Pep done? (nope) Or is something more interesting happening...

Imagine you had billions of dollars to spend. Think of all the good in the world you could do. I’m not sure destroying a once great football club would be top of the list. I hope we get relegated.

It’s a good thing I hate this version of Chelsea, otherwise I’d be fuming.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has made 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 substitutions inside the opening 20 minutes at Old Trafford, including withdrawing Cole Palmer.

The England midfielder did not look impressed as he walked past Manchester United substitute and international teammate, Kobbie Mainoo, on the touchline.

Probably the most important but neglected scandal about Mandelson.

Epstein was close to Peter Thiel. Thiel had secret meetings with Cummings and Johnson before Palantir’s 100m contract

Mandelson’s Global Counsel was pitching Thiel’s Palantir to Starmer.

What a carousel of cronyism

Interesting fact: if Djed Spence gets a cap for England, he will likely be the first Muslim to ever play for the national team.

Contrast this with France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, and other major European footballing countries that all regularly feature Muslims.
