This is NGC 2264, also called the "Christmas Tree Cluster." It's a cluster of young stars about 2,500 light years away.

They were 'born' during the Pliocene Epoch (2-5 MYA), about the same time as early hominids like Ardipithecus or Homo habilis, so they're barely older than humanity.

I think it’s a reflection of their own attitudes. Both Biden and they were trying to live in a fantasy where those 4 years were a return to normalcy as opposed to the most urgent moment in American history to preserve what was left of democracy.

Well, now I wonder if the campaign against wind energy is a pressure campaign against Denmark. Give us Greenland or you lose business.
The Interior Department cited national security concerns, saying the massive turbines may interfere with radar systems. It remains to be seen if this tactic will prove a more legally durable method of keeping turbines out of US waters. Earlier this month, a federal judge ruled that a previous ban on new projects was illegal. The move triggered a sharp drop in the shares of offshore wind companies such as Denmark’s Orsted, which is building the Revolution Wind project off the coast of Rhode Island. The shares of the company had jumped on the judge’s earlier ruling.

The reason so many of yesterday’s free-speech champions transitioned so easily into today’s pro-Trump censors is that their definition of free speech never included the right of others to talk back. They were not defending a universal right to freedom of speech; they were defending a right to monologue. They could say what they want, and you could shut up and like it. The cynicism of the effort can be known by its fruits: an administration that issues executive orders “protecting” free speech while engaging in the most sweeping campaign of state censorship since the Red Scare.
