Another thought that occurred to me is the selective targeting of watchers by leaking their identities and info to conservative influencers like libs of tiktok to drive death threats and harassment their way to intimidate them. Outsource the threats to private parties than can't be stopped in court.

I wouldn't be surprised if they start using these lists to put people on the no-fly lists, audits by the IRS, etc. as retribution. Once a government starts making lists of its citizens like this, the abuses will inevitably follow.

A reminder that Bessent is supposed to be one of the more normal ones around Trump.

I would take this as a clear sign the WH is open to (or even keen on) interference in any AB election or referendum.
Bessent pushes Albertan independence from Canada: "Albertans are very independent people. There's a rumor they may have a referendum on whether they want to stay in Canada or not. People are talking. People want sovereignty. They want what the US has got."

California is independently joining the World Health Organization (WHO) that the federal government shamefully abandoned.

Write your own governor. Tell them to do the same! Today!

Gavin Newsom just announced that California will be the first state to join the World Health Organization.

This is in direct defiance of Donald Trump, who just pulled the United States out of the organization.

New in PN: What if we just stopped paying taxes?

"Like many other blue states, Minnesota pays more to the federal government than it takes in. But why should the state continue to subsidize a government bent on destroying it? What if it just … didn’t?"

One state lawmaker suggested that in her district, more people are struck by e-bike riders than by car drivers. But according to crash data, there were just 24 involving e-bikes in her district in 2025 — meanwhile, there were 1,132 involving cars, trucks, SUVs and vans.

State lawmakers are flirting with the idea of regulating e-bikes as if they were cars, but don't have all the facts.

The EEOC has just voted 2-1 to remove the entirety of its employer guidance on sexual harassment because portions of it protected trans people.

This administration is pro sexual harassment while simultaneously claiming they protect women.

Telling people who fought and died by your side, after you got attacked and asked for help, that they're ungrateful moochers who never do anything for you, is really low. False, rude, and self-harming all in one.

Denmark and other NATO allies are right to be appalled. I'm not sure what else to say.

Everywhere now has to pass an ideological test to make sure that none of these precious baby bird MAGAs ever have to encounter historical reality, or criticism, or any idea that might challenge their puddle-deep worldview. National parks. City parks. The Smithsonian museums. It’s fucking repulsive.
President Donald Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum ordered content at national parks that “inappropriately disparage” the U.S. to be reviewed and potentially removed.

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.
