Funny thing, I'm two times in the credits because nobody cared to check that I was added two times in the company's employee database 🤣
if you want to see the opposite of this, check out the credits for ARC Raiders. Just three gigantic indistinct blocks of names with no titles or departments, separated only by company. It's so weird and vague they've gotta be hiding something.

I hate the "don't feed the trolls" approach. I can tell you from experience it doesn't work. As a woman in games, I've faced my share of harassment. Every time, I've been told by male peers to "ignore them". It's never worked.

Stand up for your marginalized peers. It's the least you can do.

One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.

Avowed es de lo mejor en action RPGs que he jugado en un buen rato.
El lore de los pillars of eternity es muy interesante, el diseño de niveles es top, el uso de HDR y la iluminación una delicia, la jugabilidad está ajustada al dedillo por gente que lleva toda una vida haciendo RPGs...

Oh man, I cannot think of a better way of inspiring creativity and creating great games than having "autonomous, efficient, focused and accountable business units". I can only imagine the amazing things this new studio with its accountable business units will put out into the world!

Git is great for code centric projects and agile.
Gamedev is neither of those.
Git LFS is not a solution.

You may survive in small indie projects, but it won't work the moment the art gets big. And nowadays it is really easy for the art to go big.

And plz, separate the art repo from the game repo.
Just to restate my stance.

1. I have seen several projects collapse due to forcing artists to use GIT for art assets.

2. Artists need instant sharing of latest by timestamp, never merges.

3. Art resource files are massive. PSD files, Substance files and Zbrush files are hecking huge...
