The PBS Dick Van Dyke documentary is absolutely chock full of rare clips.

And *everything* is in its proper aspect ratio, not stretched, which is absolutely VITAL in any documentary about film or TV history.

This is smart, well-researched, thoroughly reported, and absolutely engaging. Watch it!
PBS celebrates Dick Van Dyke’s 100th birthday tonight.

STARRING DICK VAN DYKE premieres 9pm ET. And you can watch for free on PBS, PBS.org, or the PBS app.

Better yet, donate $5/month and get access to a wealth of great shows on PBS Passport.

Thinking about family, friends and all of those who have visual impairment or low vision.

This makes no sense. Of course this is just one of many such policies…
Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered the State Department to stop using Calibri and go back to Times New Roman in official communications, reversing a Biden administration policy intended to help employees who are visually impaired or have low-vision issues. https://wapo.st/4au7Rkv

This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

From @propublica.org: stories of the Venezuelans, none of them criminals, who were picked in a made-for-TV raid on an apartment building in Chicago that used blackhawk helicopters and military tactics
1/ The night of the raid, Jonahyker López awoke to the sound of a helicopter over his building and federal agents yelling, “Open the door!” López told me he sat on the edge of his bed, wishing that his own door would become invisible. But the door came down and agents burst in. 🧵

The federal government invading churches across the country at Christmas to kidnap Christian immigrants is one of those things so comically evil it can hardly be imagined. Waiting for faith leaders of every political stripe and religious hue to condemn this racist assault on people of faith.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Norms & duct tape. That's all the Republic has turned out to be, because the laws & the Constitution do not enforce themselves. There are about 30 people in Washington who can fix this. We should stop giving them free passes all day every day & laser-focus on getting them to do their damn jobs.
It is incredibly difficult to get folks to understand that there are literally 20-30 people in DC who could end all of this tomorrow, & all of them are Republicans in Congress, & no one in the National Conversation seems interested in paying attention to that.
