Years ago I went through a phase of putting chicken legs on ... stuff?
Everything I've ever made has always been a bit absurd and self-indulgent.

For example: here is a breakfast radish on legs, which I made of wool and wire.

Would it be possible to pierce a few tiny holes with something like a pin vise and sew it on? Or, alternatively, attach them using pin backs (esp. locking ones)? Mechanical connections like that are often more secure and tolerant of fabric's flexibility than adhesives, which hate non-rigid surfaces.

Genuinely I think Ursula K Le Guin would love the Dororo anime in terms of how well it articulates what makes a society like Omelas dysfunctional and unsustainable at a basic fundamental level even if they never ran out of kids to put in that basement

when i was a kid i didn't understand how this worked and i thought every CD that was manufactured had to have a monster put onto it. like they'd go up to ringo starr or whatever and ask him what monster he wants and he'd say "ouhh this DEfinitely has a "Battle Rocks" quality to it! peace and love.!"

SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
