I have been actively involved in protest movements for 24 years. I have never seen anything approaching this scale. Minneapolis is not accepting what's happening here. ICE fucking murdered a woman for participating in this, and all that did is bring out more people, from more walks of life.

We have a pretty clear contender for the worst bill filed during the Washington legislative session so far: it would require every single bill put forward by legislators to have 1,000 signatures attached from registered voters.

can we just quickly clear up an often repeated idea that Minneapolis is a “small city of 500k” or the “47th largest city in the US”?
it is directly connected to st. paul, a city of 400,000. with the suburbs, the metro area is over 3.5 million people.
your city won’t be safer because it is bigger.
