Just so we’re clear…

SNAP isn’t saved yet. A judge gave the USDA until Monday to decide how or if benefits go out. They could be delayed, reduced, or partial. Nothing’s guaranteed.

Even if payments restart, states still have to reload cards and update systems, so delays are certain.

Evidently there was an Auschwitz-themed float in a Halloween parade in Pennsylvania.

The float was for a Catholic school, and to their credit the church immediately disavowed it.

Thing is, I don’t think high school kids did this entirely on their own. I’m guessing parents had to be involved.

By voting for cloture but not the CR in March, the GOP owns 100% of the ACA increases that people are seeing

And because there's very little overlap between the groups who have ACA and those who are on SNAP, the GOP can't dismiss them as "the poors".

You probably didn’t hear about intercepting plans for mass terrorist attacks in Europe or the U.S. but, if you did, the information was deliberately vague.

The DSA adopted that platform in 2017. Before that, it actually supported Israel and certainly didn’t support attacking Jews.

The outcome here is a bellwether. The DSA will run progressives against Democrats in areas they can’t possibly win.

They can ensure a Republican win.

The DSA isn’t, socialist ideology isn’t, but a commitment to demonize people and promote violence instead of focusing on wealth distribution makes it a national issue.
