If you're of the age with a uterus, consider using telehealth for HRT. Multiple times. Stockpile those hormones for our trans community.

If you're of the age with testicles, consider doing the same with testosterone.

Community takes care of each other.

Hey: if you're an REI member you get to vote on the board of directors. There are three candidates on the ballot, all of whom oppose workers rights, and REI has blocked pro-worker candidates. When you get your email ballot, vote "withhold" on all three to support workers.

Very few Dutch cyclists wear helmets. Yet theirs are among the safest streets on earth. Why?

They understand it’s more beneficial to calm motor traffic, build dedicated infrastructure, and nurture a culture of everyday cycling. Not force the most vulnerable users to armour up.

Not to toot my own horn, but to ring my own bell:

I just “wrapped up” a nearly year-long database build by giving logins to the partners.

Many, many, so many 5am meetings, an intense past week, and I must say, I'm pretty proud of it.

What if we simply reduced the amount of lane miles we maintained?

Closing streets to motor vehicle access to save on maintenance costs had always seemed like a fringe notion. Today it was thrust closer toward the mainstream by a Portland city councilor named Mitch Green.
Councilor: Turn streets into plazas, gardens, or cul-de-sacs to save money and address climate change
