My dad used to tell me I only had a certain number of words to use in my whole life to try to keep me from babbling. At 5 I knew it was bullshit.
The thing about Trump stories is that they always have that extra layer of stupidity that you’re not expecting. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/25/u...

Houses gonna burn down when AI tells them to broil the turkey for 15 hours.
This is so soulless, I can't stand it. We have BRAINS. We can USE THEM.

I wish this accepted individual papers. Sounds like a fun conference.
If you're working on a proposal for #AASInAsia2026 in Lahore, you have one week left before the submission deadline! All panel and roundtable proposals, for both in-person and hybrid panels, must be submitted by December 2.

I think the whole "sure, a reader might wonder if our work is corrupt, but you're in the club, Isaac" dodge that Ben is doing here is so despicable as to be high comedy (h/t @karenho.bsky.social for the image and alt text, her thread is here: bsky.app/profile/kare...)

What the fuck are you taking about? Dick Cheney is a huge reason why the current president has power he shouldn’t have. Cheney redefined torture as “advanced interrogation techniques.” Cheney laid the foundation for fascism in the US. He hated Trump but that forgives him nothing.
Watching the funeral of VP Dick Cheney and listening to his daughter, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, speak. One can only hope that this GOP will find its democratic compass again and reject all things fascist. I didn’t always agree with VP Cheney BUT he was antifa. He always put country over party.RIP🙏

Ryan Lizza blocked me on Twitter for reminding people he was fired for a sexually inappropriate relationship.

Airing is ex-girlfriend’s sexual past under a paywall is emotional abuse 101.

Fuck that guy.
