Beyond the layoffs at the FDA, some longtime inspectors have left in recent months.

“I am in utter shock that they don’t support and promote those of us who can do a decent inspection,” one investigator said. “You’re adding to the chaos.”
FDA Layoffs Could Compromise Safety of Medications Made at Foreign Factories, Inspectors Say

Pam Bondi in February: The Epstein client list is sitting on my desk right now to review.

Pam Bondi today: There is no Epstein client list and no "further disclosure" of Epstein-related material "would be appropriate or warranted."

A national abortion ban is closer than you think. The Senate bill could close one in four abortion providers nationwide. As we saw with Roe, a right only on paper is no right at all

The budget bill that passed the Senate Tuesday is a chilling reminder that abortion could be rendered inaccessible across vast swaths of the country where it’s still legal—not because Congress passed a prohibition, but because too many clinics shuttered.
The Plot to Effectively Ban Abortion Nationwide Is Unfolding Before Our Eyes
Lawmakers and activists are working to shutter clinics and restrict access to abortion pills. The end result would be catastrophic.

The saga of the NYT's anti-Mamdani story taken from notorious white supremacist Jordan Lasker (they call him an "academic") gets even more amazing: Lasker's only impactful paper, which claimed white people are smarter, is infamous: it misused data so badly it got his tenured co-author fired. 2/

The trump scheme to have battlefield ready, masked men grab day workers, moms, seniors & even kids has only just begun & it’s already extremely unpopular (as it should be FFS). And the worst it yet to come with this now super charged ICE funding.

Make no mistake, the SCOTUS decision about birthright citizenship IS ALSO ABOUT *birthright citizenship.*
The Court is using nationwide injunctions as the tail, wagging the dog, to take us back to an Antebellum view of citizenship.
That way led to war once.

The Supreme Court's Birthright Citizenship Ruling Is a Five-Alarm Catastrophe
In Trump v. CASA, the court hands the president yet more unaccountable authority—and yanks us into a neo-Confederate legal nightmare.

Four Democratic members of Congress from Illinois, Jesús “Chuy” García, Danny Davis, Delia Ramirez, and Jonathan Jackson, were denied entry to an ICE facility in Broadview, just outside Chicago, despite federal policy allowing them access without prior notice.

The president can seize control of states’ National Guard units whenever he sees fit — even during peacetime, and even to simply back up Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents working to meet daily arrest quotas, a Justice Department lawyer argued Tuesday.

Trump rolls into the G7 summit complaining about how mean they are to Putin, trashes America on foreign soil, confused the EU with the UK, dropped papers on the ground, trashed Tucker Carlson, accomplished nothing, then bailed early to escalate a war. MAGA!
