As measles continues to spread, I'm sending out this little reminder again.
Measles is beyond horrible, and it's spreading.
I got my MMR booster from Rite Aid recently. In many states, pharmacists can administer vaccines on their own authority, and you don't need to see a doctor.
If you're able, those born before 1990 might want to consider getting the MMR booster.

Repeating the standard message: if you were born before 1989, there's a good chance you didn't get both doses of MMR vaccine as a child, and there are people who lose immunity over time. If your insurance will pay for a titer test to check immunity, get one done. If not, get a booster.

Antivaxxers are trying to erase a six year old girl because she is the only child to die from this vaccine-preventable disease in >22 years. Six-year-olds can’t make medical decisions. She was unvaccinated bc her parents opposed vaccination & would be alive today if her parents were not antivaxxers.
