Made my first court appearance today to defend against the charges from November 14th. The state says that ostensibly what happens in Broadview is legal, but we know it is neither right nor legal. The state says that protesting a concentration camp is wrong, but we know better than that, too.

I feel like the fractures we are seeing in the MAGA coalition have some people hoping the status quo will simply make a roaring comeback, and judicial consequences will simply engulf all of the bad guys. There's really no precedent that supports that expectation.

When I looked out the window this morning I saw this across the street. I think this Big Feelings about the changes to our town’s leaf collection policy, but we can’t be sure. Either way, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas .
