We are outraged and deeply distressed that armed federal agents came onto our campus—making arrests on the very ground where, in 1942, Japanese American families were forced to board buses bound for concentration camps. It was a deliberate act of provocation and intimidation.

In authoritarian crackdowns, it’s important to randomly ensnare some people whom one would think would be safe, so that everyone is at least a little bit afraid that something could happen to them. The regime scales up its power of intimidation over a much larger group than those directly affected.

It is far past the time when Google PlayStore should be validating that the password manager Auto-fill feature actually works for every app that requires a sign in. People need to use password managers and stop reusing passwords, and this is one of the biggest obstacles.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

So am I reading this court decision correctly? We now have 50 micronations with their own laws interpreting the U.S. Constitution wholly separate from one another? But there's one guy with private law enforcement who is immune from all punishment who can do whatever he wants in those 50 states?

This is a mistake. This show is well-loved & the best of the modern Trek shows. It could easily go on to a season 7 or 8.

This deserves more attention. The yahoos on the right are trying to steal the election from this justice in NC. After two vote counts, it was clear she won. But that's not enough. Her opponent is fighting to disenfranchise voters by tossing out their votes so he can have the seat.
We know that these voters did everything that they were told to do. And a court cannot, consistent with the federal constitution, come in and change laws after the election to disenfranchise voters.
