Retired and I live in beautiful Maine.
Will not obey in advance.
Firmly believe that an American President is not a king and neither are his buddies.

Trump‘s a predator he thrives on fear and weakness, and Mamdani exhibits neither. That intrigues Trump immensely.
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao
I’m 72 years old I can pretty well guarantee that people like Dershowitz are neither charismatic nor influential and will never be someone I would be interested in watching or reading . I really have to wonder what she’s been drinking.
Bari Weiss says she wants to use her new perch at CBS News to “redraw the lines of what falls in the 40 yards of acceptable debate” in American political and cultural life. She says the aim is to sideline voices like Hasan Piker, Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, and elevate “charismatic”...

Fine. None of us will ever make, bake, buy, procure, or offer him an apple pie. Or any pie, ever. And maybe, just maybe, no other kind of food either.
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

Pretty convincing evidence here that the Trump administration was planning to jailbreak and provide asylum for Bolsonaro -- and that Trump inadvertently revealed the plan.

And this, as the now-cliche goes, would have been a paralyzing scandal for any other administration.

An agent of Russia.
Surprise, surprise.
A private call between Trump-appointed envoy Steve Witkoff and Putin advisor Yuri Ushakov was just leaked — and it shows the American envoy effectively acting as a strategist for Moscow.
NEWSFLASH: Witkoff was secretly giving Russians advice
A secret transcript reveals that the Trump envoy was helping a Putin advisor formulate a plan.

Why do I get the idea that DJT is a bit confused about what he thinks?
He literally tweeted this out.

“SHOULD ORDERS AND THE LAW EVER CONFLICT, OUR OFFICERS MUST OBEY THE LAW.”

This plaque is displayed at West Point. It’s the law. Not sedition.

He never could figure out why we didn’t get Iraq’s oil
We’re about to invade Venezuela because trump wants their oil. No other reason. The airspace has been cleared. Embassies are being evacuated. Flights are being canceled.

He’s going to kill people for oil.

Also notable - the Maine Principals' Association has had a policy of allowing trans kids to participate in school sports since 2013, but only now Senator Collins is concerned about it? Journalists should ask her why it was fine for 12 years but is now bad.
3 weeks ago, Senator Collins wouldn't tell us where she stood on protecting Mainers from gun violence because it was a state issue that "she doesn't usually weigh in on." But she'll make an exception for excluding trans kids #mepolitics

Maine is done with politicians who put billionaires before working families.

They lie. They lie. And then they lie.

It is what they do.
The Trump admin submitted a sworn declaration under oath that Costa Rica had changed its mind and would no longer take Mr. Abrego.

Costa Rica has now said publicly that that this is false, that they have not changed their position at all, and that they will still take him.
Unpacked:
In Aug., Govt said if Abrego pled guilty he could go to Costa Rica, where he's okay with going. Abrego said no to plea. Govt now wants to send him to Liberia. Why not Costa Rica? Govt told judge Thurs that Costa Rica wouldn’t take him anymore. @mariasacchetti exposed them.
