If you think about it, the last 2 years has generated some incredible fresh Star Wars storytelling.

The Acolyte
Skeleton Crew
Andor
Visions

Now we’re returning to more familiar territory again.

Maul
Mando & Grogu
Ahsoka

But then we’re blasting off again into a new future with Starfighter.

The internet is nothing more than a realm of hot takes for edge lords.

Star Wars has never been that. It’s the exact opposite in fact.

But somehow, the narrative surrounding Star Wars has been over-run by people that that no longer get that or never understood it in the first place.

Star Wars is about love.

So lucky to have it in our world and the fantastic communities who support it.
On this Thanksgiving, we are incredibly grateful for the Star Wars community we have the privilege of interacting with. Star Wars fandom gets a lot of hate, but through the toxicity are so many kind people who passionately share their love for SW. Forever grateful for you guys💙

A *huge* vaccine victory. I've been writing on this for years; Australia has seen remarkable progress in cervical cancer prevention with the HPV vaccine. I love seeing science triumph like this.
Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

I identify with them all. Even the “I-will-never-watch-Star-Wars-again” crowd because I was there too, once.
What division(s) of the Star Wars fandom do you most identify with?

• Animation fans
• Legends / EU fans
• Original trilogy fans
• Prequelists
• Sequel fans
• The Last Jedi defenders
• The Last Jedi critics
• Acolyte fans (aka Yord Horde)
• Andor-only
• Reylo

So the usual suspects are all having a cry about Sabine being a Jedi because someone said so.

It’d be a shame if the Star Wars community could actually find things to celebrate.

But then negativity draws clicks I guess.

The internet has fucking failed.

I’m planning to do a TFA rewatch for the 10th Anniversary.

Perfect opportunity to try this.

Has anyone tried the Skytalkers Nesting Order?

It’s a way of watching Star Wars saga with the Sequel Trilogy as it’s frame.

1. TFA
2. TLJ
3. ANH

4. ESB
5. TPM
6. AotC

7. RotS

I’ve been reading some of the post-Endor Star Wars novels. Absolutely loved the Aftermath trilogy but I admit, I’m finding Last Shot a little difficult to get into.

Should I keep pushing on with it? Otherwise, I am thinking of moving back into the high republic for a little while.

Thoughts?

I’m just sitting, minding my own business when I suddenly remember in 12 months we will have a new animated Maul series and a completely new 12th Jedi series. We will have watched Mando & Grogu on the BIG screen, be in the middle of Ahsoka s2, and eagerly anticipating Starfighter.

I fkn ♥️ Star Wars

Considering the entire history of James Bond, this whole “he’s dead, how do we bring him back” thing feels like the biggest non-issue possible. Like, really?

My head canon is that anyone who’s said they “will never watch Star Wars again!” actually follows through.

The world is so much happier.

✅ Driver came up with an idea for a new Star Wars movie.
✅ He actively sought people to develop the idea.
✅ He took the idea to the studio ✅ He announced it in a public forum to generate support from the fandom.

Sure seems like Adam Driver wants to return to Star Wars.

May be a bit of a surprise to hear, but Star Wars The Force Awakens was actually my 1st PROPER experience of the franchise 😅

I know I've seen bits of the other OG/Prequels & Cartoons, but I wasn't entirely invested in them... 😵‍💫 But I guess this movie changed that for me 😂

I was hoping for a sneaky a 10th anniversary TFA theatre release but I guess I’m going to have to watch it on my crappy TV and sub-par sound system.

Still going to have my Peanut M&Ms. They can’t take that away from me.
