Miller wants an ICE casualty to justify a military deployment that itself won't achieve his goals. But the fact that he's eager to sacrifice someone from his own goon squad seems to be fertile ground for some psy ops targeting ICE.

It's also a case where, had they just asked nicely, Denmark and Greenland propably would have allowed them to build new bases there. The US actions have now made that diplomatically impossible.
That has always been the case FFS 🙄
The US used to have 13 Army bases and 4 Navy nases in Greenland. It now has one major permanent US base, the Pituffik Space Base.

His not being impeached by the end of the business day as a result of this threat is as much a problem as the threat itself. It’s not just Trump that the world has to worry about, it’s a GOP that supports him and Democrats who suck their thumbs and refuse to even discuss pushing to remove him

Even after Trump is gone, the world will remember that he threatened to forcibly seize the territory of a peaceful democratic ally, and our institutions failed to immediately remove him. That makes US dangerously unreliable, not just one senile gangster.
