they should just let you dress up and look however you want even if youre not in a band. if youre in a band you can be a character.

this is also reminding me how much i think colourblind simulation is very harmonising for character colour schemes. back in the day i put rainbow clashing sparkledogs in that thing and they would all come out so much better-looking afterwards.

the wrongest it gets is on tritanopia, which makes the blue slightly greenish and the yellow slightly pinkish, which barely matters.

its pretty funny to realise that my general blue/yellow/black/white colour scheme is basically completely colour-blindness-friendly. a lot of that shit looks basically the same when i put it into a colourblindness simulator.

If you’re looking to expand your vocabulary “often” is another word for “a lot”

David Simon, creator of ‘The Wire’, being interviewed by Ari Shapiro (NPR)
SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Anyway, here’s your form of consent, Bluesky.
Meme from Parks and Recreation of Ron handing a paper to an officer and saying “Not to worry. I have a permit.”

Followed by a closeup image of the paper being held by the officer, edited to read:

“Every fictional character I’ve drawn and will draw having sex, has consented to being drawn that way. They told me themselves.”

it is fucked that you have to work out body language first in order to draw something. cant just draw a person sitting, i have to know if theyre trying to sit up or slouch or put their shoulders up or have their back arched or how they put their arms or. anything else.
