This one was a bit terrifying-looking, so I went in a more abstract direction 😂

Am reading Tammy Wynette's autobiography 'Stand By Your Man' and it's so engaging, I read until 1am last night. More than halfway through it now, and her simple style is both honest, homely and sometimes downright amusing.

People really into AI have to try really hard to convince other people that the products of AI look good and that it's also not obvious it's AI generated. Which those people fail at doing, because, they can't. It's always obvious. It always looks bad.

Don't support 'animal rescues' that cherry-pick what breeds they'll accept, taking only minis they can rehome for an exorbitant adoption fee just short of $2000. An annoyed commenter said it best. All the vetwork, vax, meds etc. are not going to cost HALF of this demanded 'adoption' fee. >:(

Two months ago or thereabouts, I planted a too-small, wizened spud. After I planted it and it was about 30cm tall, I piled up compost around it, re-burying it effectively. Today, I reaped the rewards. 80% of spuds sitting under the layer of mulch, not beneath the soil. I will do this always now.

This Curculego leaf drooped into rainwater in the bucket. Algae formed, and I've never seen anything like this before. It's like some delicate fabric, with retina-searing bright neon green globules streaking across it.
