A very fine Total Trust tasting menu at Glasgow's 111 by Modou today. You don't know what you're getting and have to guess what you've eaten.

A delicious starter that I don't want to spoil what it is.

A very nice fish course with white fish and various purees.

Glasgow is the best city I've ever lived in for food: a huge range of diverse cuisines, incredible places for tasting menus and Michelin-level food, and a great city for vegans.

Dinner at the Lasg restaurant on Blythewood Square, in a genteel Georgian part of Glasgow I didn’t know existed - but only 10 minutes walk from Central. Big fan of mussels, these were superb. I reckon Edinburgh gets all the attention, Glasgow is hiding its light under a bushel…
