The bickering between everyone is the clearest sign that people have really started to accept that we're in deep shit.

Take it easy on each other. Fear is driving our responses. Nobody who doesn't want this hates anyone else who doesn't want this.

Yesterday we talked about how cervical screening is a really important tool in helping us to eliminate cervical cancer. Today we'd like to share a few tips about how to make your cervical screening experience as comfortable for you as possible...

The day before I got home internet for the first time, I managed to open the Internet Explorer executable in Word and save it, corrupting it and leaving me with no way to get onto the web. Less tech know-how, I couldn't have done it. More tech know-how, I wouldn't have done it.
I don't even have the excuse of being a kid – I was 22, and absolutely should have known better. Sometimes computer literacy merely enables exciting new ways to fuck everything up, is what I mean to say.

i feel like the viral bus thread resonates because at every step of the way you're like "ok surely this will be resolved shortly, any second now," which seems like what all the passengers are also thinking. then the fact that the situation doesn't resolve and the bus just keeps going is an Allegory

We're getting at least 10 posts a day from Americans apologising, and saying things like they didn't vote for Trump or don't support his policies....

Alert for anyone hiding from the January gym rush: the group training class I went to this morning had only me in it for maybe the first time. The rush is subsiding. #gymsky

Interesting reading about Veronica Roth’s view of Divergent 15 years on. I never read it but it was the classic “YA book you can safely hate on” for many people online (I was in the Twilight hater group instead). She goes into how that affected her veronicaroth.substack.com/p/do-i-like-...
