Today I learned that @treznor.bsky.social is on Bluesky, so I can finally apologize for denying him a Compuserve account in 1995. I always assumed "Hurt" was about that experience. Sorry, Trent.

Why did you do that?

Screenshot of text that says: I'm a single disabled mom of four. I have uterine fibroids that causes excessive bleeding and fatigue, POTs and PTSD from Covid turning into long covid and causing my health problems. I was working two jobs prior to not working until it caught up to me and I ended up in the ER with a heart rate that wouldn't slow down until I had to take medication. I have been trying to get on disability since. A year later I started to caretake for my disabled child by myself as well. I had help previously but it wasn't working out and l've had to do a lot of it on my own, now I'm stuck in a situation where working isn't possible for my health and while I'm already caretaking for my disabled child that needs constant care. I did not ever envision this happening to me and have always worked hard to take care of my family but now I'm in what feels like an impossible situation trying my best to take care of my kids and myself so I can stay around for them as long as possible. Im not enjoying coming online asking for help but I have no where else to turn. I'm doing Screenshot of text that says: have no where else to turn. I'm doing everything I can to get help but it's not enough to survive off of. I'm sadly the only responsible parent and have limited family that all live too far to help. I live in California which is a bit expensive but with the state of America right now I'm trying to stay where my trans child and disabled child are the safest. Any help is appreciated and keeps my kids and I surviving while waiting on disability or other options I'm pursuing to happen. I don't know what the future holds but as a mother I'm doing everything I can to keep my family together, healthy and happy. Even if it means coming online and begging for that help. Thank you if you read.
Please boost if you're able. The chances someone who can help sees my post greatly increases with more eyes. Lots of love

I know people who served in Iraq too, and they are not qualified to be the Secretary of War. Also, calling people "girlie" is sexist as hell. Carry Hegseth's water if you need, but try not to be an asshole about it.

You are very off-putting. The amount of disrespect you're showing to the users who are largely responsible for the success of this platform is actually kind of astonishing.

As a Phish fan, this is a weird comparison. AOC/Bernie are succinct and effective communicators with good messaging.

Phish jams are frenetic chaos and we go wild because we're all on drugs.

Me: bud can you stop eating grass please

My dog, who has no concept of “eating,” only the constant exchange of sustenance and energy among all living things, not least of which, the unassuming blade of grass, which in its humility, communes directly with the sun: 🙂 ?

Can you recommend a VPN phone app? I'm in Ohio and not willing to give Bluesky personal information about myself.

I've had many talks with my 22 year old son about how *not* normal this is. I want him to understand that the U.S. can be a marginally reasonable place to live.

You guys, so many Romance girlies are reading "On Tyranny" that they've broken the Goodreads recommendations algorithm. 10/10; no notes.
