According to multiple NYT sources, it wasn’t even military personnel at Fort Bliss that fired an anti-drone laser at alleged cartel drones. It was CBP who used the weapon on loan from DoD against a child’s party balloon they mistook for a drone. The Pentagon gave CBP an anti-aircraft weapon.

Struggling with something can be beneficial, it teaches you the skills you need to learn to learn.
I skated by in school, literally slept through precalc and had the highest grade in the class... but it totally screwed me cause i had ZERO study skills so when i was challenged i was lost.

Those who weren’t resigned to the Math Idiot Garbage Bin as kids may not grasp how much “if you’re bad at math, you’ll die in a ditch and all will be better off for it” sentiment was floating around in the 90s and 2000s, but it sure felt real to me.
