I was more referring to the impact of Peter wearing the symbiote suit. Say what you will about Emo Peter, but he acted like an asshole throughout the movie with his actions having real consequences.

While in the game, worse he got was one argument, a quick fight and everything is back to normal.

I wouldn’t call it a terrible story either. I just find it to be a worse version of what Spider-Man 3 did, which is already a worse version of what the 90s show did.

Not to mention that it holds back so much with the symbiote arc to be as impactful as it could be.

I heard some people defending Tron Ares by saying:

“It has pretty visuals and sounds. It doesn’t need a good story.”

To that I say, the Bayformers have pretty visuals and sounds. It’s just not enough especially in today’s day and age. It will only get you so far.

Best part is that Jared Leto isn’t even that good in the movie at all. Johnny 5 from Short Circuit is more expressive and charismatic than Jared Leto ever was.

Knightfall is an important story, but it’s also long and full of filler especially around Knightquest. It has a lot of fat that needs to be trimmed down heavily.

I’m sorry but 4 movies just sound completely insane.

If anything, it would have actually benefited from 2 movies.

Movie 1: Bane breaks Batman, then Azrael takes up the mantle and defeats Bane.

Movie 2: Azrael goes insane, forcing Bruce back into the mantle to defeat him.

I feel like the movies and shows should have a responsibility in telling people where they based their ideas on:

Like imagine if Thunderbolts* marketing also included:

“Hey, check out this cool Thunderbolts and Sentry comic. This is what the movie is based on.”

It worked wonders for DC.
