I honestly shocked that the KOTOR remake hasn’t been cancelled by now.

I’m just going to say with graphics, we peaked with Metal Gear Solid 3…

It was all downhill from there.
The overton window shifted so far we now say Halo had simple graphics.

A 18 hour video… on a mediocre game that came out last year…

The party is over. I don’t see anyone giving a flying shit about Outlaws when everyone, even the people that didn’t like it, has moved on with their lives.
I'm dying, Mauler has unlocked Golden Experience Requiem but in the form of bad video essays.

Considering the other options, WB being turned into streaming slop is arguably the least evil outcome.
Netflix has won the bidding war to purchase Warner Bros. Discovery.

The sale is not yet finalized, as the U.S. Department of Justice could also interfere due to anti-trust concerns.

Power of licensing. Just get someone else to make your game instead of staying in house. That’s how you get Marvel Rivals and Cosmic Invasion.
it's weird to me that Warner Brothers owns multiple game development studios and Marvel does not, and yet I have a cornucopia of Marvel video games and a dearth of D.C. Comics games

They got me out here knowing who Beta Ray Bill is and shit, and I can't even be Superman anywhere anymore

My biggest worry about the MCU X-Men movie is that they will make a Mr Beast joke with Beast, like that would be the worst thing that had ever happened to him and he was made a war criminal at one point

They said the same thing about NFTs by the way. And look how that turned out.

AI is a bubble. Sooner or later, it’s going to pop.
Epic Games boss Tim Sweeney thinks stores like Steam should stop labeling games as 'made with AI' 🎮

"It makes no sense for game stores where AI will be involved in nearly all future production"

So to put this in perspective, this is the timeline order:

- World at War
- Black Ops 1
- Cold War
- Black Ops 2 (Past)
- Black Ops 6
- Black Ops 2 (Future)
- Black Ops 7
- Black Ops 4
- Black Ops 3

frustrating that this piracy discourse is the same goddamn thing every time, has been for years, while discussion of exploitation of writers by publishers tends to remain very faint. it feels like this is a frequent steam valve for frustration, a group that can be yelled at without risking jobs.
