It reminds me of the old joke about how to conjugate the verb “to be a goth”

I am a goth.
You are an alternative romantic
They are sad bastards

I saw a tragically AI-generated version of this poster, so I have recreated a 100% human-made version for all your protest sign needs.
There are a lot of activated white people out here!!
I’m pretty sure this specific test was a plot point in KINGSMAN

He flunks out because he can’t shoot the dog. She gets in because she figures out it’s a test and knows it’s a blank bullet.

Shooting the dog is *a whole thing* in our culture, and our police are filtering *for* it.

THAT’S BAD

In fact in a civilized society, shooting the dog should be a disqualifier for a cop. They ought to filter this trait out early in the apprenticeship

But this is America, a country that cries about Old Yeller
The whole story is even worse. The ICE agent, having allowed the family to put the dog in the bathroom so he wouldn’t be a problem, waited until the dog owner was outside in their truck getting their ID, entered the home, busted into the bathroom, and shot the dog

*for no fucking reason*
Teen Vogue out here doing Fucking Journalism like they’re Spider Jerusalem, I ask you
I know, silly isn’t it? That is in fact what I do!
At a buck ninety-nine for the basic I’m pretty sure I’d have my house paid off in a year

I’m sure I could come up with a premium version for $5.99
Yeah I’ve been looking for an app that does this for years. Haven’t found one. There are some okay pantry and recipe apps but nothing that cross references available ingredients to a recipe suggestion
There’s an episode of Murderbot where the SecUnit gets sufficiently damaged that it’s speaking gibberish before collapsing. Alexander Skarsgård used his native Swedish for that line and it’s perfect
I watched the first season before reading the first book, so that has informed how I see the characters, but like I say they’re very different pieces of work.
We’re big fans of both the books and the show. They’re very different entities by this point, like companion pieces rather than a straight interpretation. They’ve captured the *vibe* so so well though.
our Costco brought out the Christmas stuff a few weeks ago
Corollary: try to ensure the ads are designed in such a way that I can identify the product I’m being sold! Is it the car? The insurance? Fertility drugs? WHAT
I know this is precisely why they do this, it’s because they know we will get up and go pee or get a snack, but it absolutely fucking ruins the shows! just show me some ads at the beginning of the show and I promise you, I’ll see it often enough it’ll stick

you fucked around and now the Episcopalians are doing memes. are you happy now. are you
I wouldn’t mind modern ads quite so much if they didn’t shove them into the broadcast willy-nilly with no consideration of natural breaks in the show, so you actually don’t know in many cases that you’re been being shown an ad until it’s halfway in
There was a Cracked article about 15 years ago that talked about this complaint men have that women “ just want <whatever>” and poor guy can’t get laid, the writer (a man) basically said “you can’t get laid because you bring nothing to the table. Learn a skill. Learn to converse. DO SOMETHING”.

I’ll be there! I made this true story comic to show protesters how sneaky agitators are. Don’t let them rile you, and Hold the Line.
These existed, in the 70’s, as children’s records included with books. They were on flexible plastic, not meant to last. Your idea of putting info on the corners and margins would have been workable—I never saw it done
