Kat is totally right about this - but also consider donating to small food pantries and food rescues in your area. They are often working with populations who for whatever reason the big food banks don't reach. Many large food banks require ID to access food for example.
SNAP benefits are under attack during this government shutdown and food banks are picking up the slack.

My org just moved into a new space and they put stuffed animals everywhere (it’s sort of on theme, I guess?) but someone decided the silly goose was right for my office, and I’m taking that as another sign from the universe 💜
