Whales are the only form of energy from which the world has transitioned. 🥲
"Reducing our dependence on whales as an energy source will send us sliding down the slippery, spermaceti-lubricated slope to socialism. If we give up whaling, what will those lackwits come for next? Will I have to surrender my peg leg for a titanium prosthetic?"
I’m Captain Ahab and I Say We Must Never Transition Away from a Whale-Based Energy Industry
When I heard that the globalist oligarchs and fat cats in the Washington marshland were conspiring to invest in alternative, non-whale-based energy...

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Regardless of who wins the July 19 state election, Tasmanians want the govt to rip up the dud stadium deal with the AFL.

Our research reveals more than two-thirds of Tasmanians believe the stadium deal is unfair and want Parliament to stand up to the AFL and negotiate a new deal.
Whether for or against the stadium, Tasmanians overwhelmingly feel dudded by the AFL - poll - The Australia Institute

A re-elected Coalition government would have to slash net migration of students and skilled workers by 90% to reach its “impossibly heroic” goal of reducing net migration to 160,000, a Guardian analysis shows.
Imagine Dutton’s implausible cuts to migration were actually possible. Now see the dire economic consequences
Net migration of international students and skilled workers would have to fall by almost 90% to achieve the Coalition’s promised figures

* we’re on the brink of a golden age of medical healing
* there’s enough money in the world to solve every problem in the world
* a united approach could stop the climate crisis

Our DOJ may be amending access to NatGeo in the Ice house and the whole island moving forward.
Secrets of the Penguins is out today! Go watch on NatGeo TV and tomorrow on Disney+ and Hulu.

I can tell you for sure, the first episode is adorable, you will love it.

I'm a pretty simple guy:

1) I don't support genocides.
2) I do support taking actions on existential threats to my children's future.
3) I do support using modern science & scientific knowledge to reduce diseases to the best of our abilities.

This doesn't seem radical to me, why does it to you?
