we said all along that they wanted Gawker dead not because we embarrassed a pro wrestler but because the Epstein story is one Gawker was covering a decade before most other people caught up & was just one of many stories exposing powerful people and their misdeeds
Among the batch of newly released emails from Jeffrey Epstein: Epstein telling Peter Thiel he would “gladly share…expenses for the Gawker suit.”

This was sent the day after @rmac.bsky.social and @mattdrange.bsky.social reported in Forbes that Thiel was behind the lawsuit that would bankrupt Gawker

Trump admitted to disappearing a 12 year old girl, and threatened to disappear another and kill their family.

This isn’t from a tip line — this is sworn testimony.

If they were willing to release this, imagine what they’re still hiding.

Reminder about signal, devices with touch/face id etc.

Passcode/password everything
The FBI was able to access Washington Post reporter Hannah Natanson's Signal messages because she used Signal on her work laptop. The laptop accepted Touch ID for authentication, meaning the agents were allowed to require her to unlock it. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Si comienzas una frase con "En países subdesarrollados como Nigeria o Estados Unidos...", por lo que sea, le rompes la cintura al que trae el argumentario extraído de "La mañana de Cope" y pocas referencias más.

El tema era el ferroviario.

Paleoart has always been rife with cheap, inaccurate depictions and copied illustrations. Especially among children’s books, many authors aren’t experts and don’t know what to look for. ai slop is making it worse, whatever looks dinosaur-ish treated as accurate because it appeared on an image search

"if we allow landlords to charge higher rents then more people will hopefully want to become landlords, but if that happens it won't be quickly" is an actual stated policy position of an Irish government in the year 2026
🗣️ “Making rents higher to attract landlords isn’t really much comfort.”

New rent rules have passed Cabinet, including a 2% annual cap for most homes and six-year tenancies.

The Group Chat examines what’s changing and the concerns around future rent hikes.

They said "free speech" and "academic freedom" but never believed in either and now in texas you need a permission slip to mention race in class and they're fine with it. Might not have worked if people with large platforms weren't furious about marginal increases of black people in their offices

Jeffrey Epstein sent a link to the white nationalist podcast The Right Stuff, whose core hosts played an active role in the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally. He did so in February 2016. Before TRS made national news, really.

oh it’s far worse than that, Epstein’s actions have been common knowledge in elite circles since the 80s, meaning every admin since then knew and did nothing because it would mean hurting the party and its donors.

One thing that is really heartening about this time in Chicago (I'm sure in other cities too) is that a LOT of people who aren't normally as plugged in to community organizing or movement work are finding little pockets of involvement and even leading in their own right. It's how we win.
