Fought the good fight in the war against AI today at work!

A distributor sent us test files for 4 cartoons that had been AI-upscaled/upconverted. They looked like shit & I told them so. The AI didn't know how to interpret faces in wide shots & turned everyone's face into noticeably distorted blobs!

The secretary of the meeting decided to use the AI-generated minutes to save on work and passed them as produced. Then, the complaint was that the person in charge with archiving them had to dedicate an hour to polish them to make them coherent and presentable. That person wasn't at the meeting.

Hace años se dejó de contratar a ingenieros porque los de FPs hacían cosas similares cobrando la mitad. Ahora usando la IA pueden sustituir a los de FP también. Que el código generado es peor, proclive a agujeros y rendimiento regular: da igual

Most animals die when they freeze. The water in their tissues turns to ICE and their cells rupture. But do you know what happens to frogs? They just thaw out in the spring and keep hopping. ICE cannot harm frogs.
