Dunwich Heath on the Suffolk coast had a rare visitor last week - the Turkestan shrike, also known as a red-tailed shrike, was first reported on 2 October and has now moved on. We believe it's the 13th time this species has ever been recorded in the UK.

I can't see any scenario where tear gas is an effective tool in rounding up immigrants.

If immigration enforcement was their primary function they wouldn't even be carrying tear gas.

Lost viola bow on the way from Honor Oak Station to Heathrow Terminal 2. The bow slid from its bow case somewhere along the way, possibly on the train. TFL contacted already.
