Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.

Thinking a little bit about the Tough Posturing men will do, the exaggeration of experience or difficulties. Still think the Omega Example of this was the scoutmaster who told my dad he, as only an army veteran, couldn't possibly understand the harsh regime and discipline of a drum&bugle corps

also, on the author side, cons feel like _work_. You have to be On, you have a schedule, etc....and I am not super fond of spending tons of money _to work_
I think, in general, cons can be fun as a writer but they are a huge money-loser if you have to pay for them yourself, and I ain't doing that anymore unless it's local places I can set up a table and expect to make my nut and then some

Some internet memories show that 9 years ago I was at the AWP conference, which remains _easily_ the worst con/pro writer experience of my life

Kyle Goon: Mike Elias, Orioles once again fall short of a truly inspiring offseason
COLUMN | The Orioles are spending less on payroll this year than last. Their constant claim that they have unlimited resources rings hollow when they keep coming up short in free agency.
