We don’t spend enough time discussing how the entire MAGA movement is kept afloat by the constant threats of stochastic terrorism orchestrated by the president of the United States.

Congress, the courts, much of the media … all kept in line by the mob boss and his army of anonymous goons.

me: “sorry, the thing I told you not to do?”

client: “yeah”

me: “and why did I tell you not to do it?”

client: “because CPU would hit 100%”

Yes. The defendants may argue that there were multiple conspiracies and not one continuous conspiracy, but prosecutors are given a lot of leeway. I've seen meth production conspiracy convictions w/ constant turnover last for over a decade (and the late joiners responsible for the whole conspiracy).

Question for #lawsky -- do ongoing criminal acts in furtherance of a conspiracy to obstruct justice tend to reset the clock on a statute of limitations?

I and about 80 million other Americans would like to know.

These declines are MASSIVE.

And the comparative silence in media coverage is absolutely DAMNING.

“Why are ppl always so afraid of crime?”

THIS is why. When crime goes up, media trips over itself to report it.

Falls to pre-war (!!) levels? Just CRICKETS.
I count 10 cities in 2025 that are on track to have the fewest murders since at least 1970. Newark is on pace to have the fewest murders since 1956 (though only have data through Oct this year) and San Francisco is on pace to have the fewest murders since 1942.

My two cents, SCOTUS basically told Trump if he wants to militarize law enforcement he is going to have to go full constitutional crisis, presumably through the Insurrection Act, and send in the actual military. Not side step it with National Guard.
So... the next questions for 2026 will be:
A: Does Trump just ignore this and send the National Guard anyway, and what, if anything, will SCOTUS do about it when they are ignored?
B: Will Trump send the Army and violate Posse Comitatus?
C: Will the Court cave on what Posse Comitatus means?

the least shocking thing in the epstein files that wont get enough attention. police regularly arrest and charge victims to coerce them into participating, often jailing them in conditions that are worse.
jesus the Palm Beach Police really sought arrest warrants against underage Epstein victims for coming forward and cooperating, and (purported) admitting to crimes, and it caused the victims to become uncooperative with the federal investigation

The Oath Keepers built a massive stockpile of guns for Jan 6th and kept them in a hotel in Virginia because of D.C.'s strict gun laws.
BREAKING: The Trump administration is suing D.C. over its ban on semi-automatic (AR-15) weapons.

DOJ's Civil Rights Division under Harmeet Dhillon is seeking a court ruling that D.C.'s law "prohibiting registration of the AR-15 by law-abiding citizens violates the Second Amendment."
