Charlie Kirk was a man of violence. He cheered for violence, he helped create violence. He used violent rhetoric to inspire others to violent actions. He spent his time on this earth making it a more hateful, violent place.

I do not consider it especially shocking that he met a violent end.

I need Democratic online types to understand that because of this, Newsom is dead to me. Dead. I'd sooner vote for an actual corpse. There is no hope, none, that he'll win me over, *because he has established he is a bad person*. There's no coming back from this. Take my advice and move the fuck on.
1. This morning, California Governor said he was in "complete alignment" with anti-LGBTQ+ hate-influencer Charlie Kirk of TPUSA on transgender sports.

He also conceded on trans inmates and gender affirming care for youth.

It's so much worse than being reported.

Saw this from Tumblr and it really resonated with me. If you engage with/talk a lot about HP stuff, you can and should do better. I don't think people realize how much referencing this stuff continues to give her power and makes the trans people around you uncomfortable.

If human rights need to "poll well" before you touch them then you have no true beliefs. You are a soulless husk of a human being
NEW: Democrats have used SCOTUS rulings to galvanize their base — but they won’t do that with Skrmetti, which green lit gender-affirming care bans

One Dem said it’s now a states issue

Another said trans issues don’t poll well

A third pointed me to the Cass report

Democrats Have Basically Given Up Trying to Message on Transgender Rights
“The Supreme Court has ruled,” said one House Democrat. “We’re either a party that supports the rule of law or not.”

I guess I will continue not to play legacy. I really really wish they were more willing to remove things from the format, I get the feeling they don't want to ban things for players sake in regards to $ but I think the format is worse for it and the player base is shrinking which feels much worse

Overall, I like it a lot. If you’re going to have very few windows, use them aggressively in ways that actively values changing play patterns!

gonna post a bunch of thoughts on the legacy B&R.

I think the most important note to keep in mind is legacy in 2025 is inherently a casual format. There are competitive events, but it is a format defined by casual interest. Without weeklies and paper play, legacy dies.
This B&R ignores this fact.

we are talking about whether zohran is going to do a sharia law while gop has been trying to pass a bill to strip medicaid to pay for concentration camps like

it is genuinely incredible that zohran's campaign completely annihilated the democratic commentariat and party cadre mainstreaming of the idea that you need to concede palestine and trans rights to the zionists and republicans to 'gather votes'. lmfaoooo

trans rights are a winning issue. ending the genocide in palestine is a winning issue. rent reduction, free transit, lower cost of groceries. these are the things the average person can get behind, yet the democrats refuse to acknowledge it

Mamdani's decisive victory is the blue print to dismantle the ineptitude of the Democratic party and in turn build a vision worth fighting for in the general elections ahead. These battles are decided in the primaries, local elections, and party leadership elections. The work starts yesterday.
