This is why we say the so-called exceptions for the pregnant person’s life aren’t real. This woman had severe preeclampsia and wanted to abort the pregnancy to save her life. None of the 90 doctors she saw, 21 of whom were in ob-gyn, offered it. Her 16 yo son found her dead in their home.
I don't know how many more women need to die before the cruelty of these strict abortion laws finally dawn on us a society. This story is heartbreaking. Nothing about this is pro-life. It is anti woman and anti-life.

Walker is one of several women ProPublica found with underlying health conditions who died when they couldn’t access abortions.

Another reason to get your flu shot:

The CDC Fluview map of influenza and ILI (influenza like illness) is normally updated weekly. It has not been changed since September 20.

Patient: Help me doctor I'm really sick!
Me: Ok
Patient: Is flu going around?
Me: Fuck if I know 🤷

I don’t really care that a wing of a house built by enslaved people is being demolished. I care that the person doing it is in the Epstein files and more concerned with a ballroom than skyrocketing housing and grocery costs.

It’s amazing how the same person can recognize that storm troopers are a product of evil, root for Luke and Mando and the rebellion, and then turn off the TV and go vote for the emperor and support his destruction of the senate. The lack of insight is wild.

I will note that in Japan the MMR was given as individual components from 1993-2006 with Mumps separate and optional, and as Measles/Rubella (MR) from 2006 until today. Despite these changes the rates of ASD in Japan are similar to the rates in the US.
'You know it's artificially induced" --families destroyed over this, it's so so terrible. "No mercury in the vaccines, no aluminum in the vaccines, the MMR should be taken separately" based on what Trump feels. Good lord we're back to Wakefield.

Federal agents reporting to Secretary Noem have spent weeks snatching up families, scaring law-abiding residents, violating due process rights, and even detaining U.S. citizens.

They fail to focus on violent criminals and instead create panic in our communities.

There are fewer than 300 children’s hospitals in the United States. If your child (or most neonates) needs any form of intensive, specialized, or prolonged care, these are all there are. Would you want your child at a hospital that just fired 150 staff and is no longer hiring for unfilled positions?
Seattle Children’s is laying off over 150 staff and slashing hundreds of open positions. Why? Because of Trump and the Republicans' health care cuts. Republicans chose tax breaks for billionaires over care for our kids. This is Trump’s America.
