I see Bluesky is still a weird mix of creativity, news, and soul-crushing doomerism.
I'm using an app blocker now at night and as much as I feel guilty for not keeping hyperinformed, it does help my stress levels. And I still have my news apps during most of the day giving me notifications.

There actually is a protest camp at the national mall (it's technically outside union station). It's advocating for the removal of Trump from office.
But I agree it has been disturbing how slow people have been to put together what needs to be called for.

Americans don't take the threat of Trump's fascism seriously. If they did we would see images daily from the huge protest camp at the Mall in Washington D.C.

Obviously the Epstein Files are bad and should be treated seriously, but what should also be treated seriously are the the concentration camps, the overt bribery in exchange for pardons, the looting of the public treasury, and the perversion of the justice system to persecute political enemies.
