I’m a bit cynical but utterly open minded, & I know there’s still a few surprises hiding that will either be good for me or not.

…and today I’ve discovered another former colleague gone.

We all need to know it’s ok, not to be ok.

And we all need to be able to check in on anyone in our workspaces regardless of power and responsibility…

Fvck. Anaesthetists in particular are not ok. I’m sure I’ve lost others I don’t know yet.

Wish it were so. I’m glad you’re able to avoid it when you need to.

For some of us, though, it’s a terrifying competitive sport that you can’t ever win. You can only lose. (eg “And now someone else thinks I’m weird”)

I mean, even if you ignore the *actual* autism facts, there’s less circumcision practiced than there ever was…

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

Then you get an email from someone you don’t need to think about.

…but feelings are happening. And I’m not contacting family because I’ve worked really hard at setting boundaries and none of them know what that means.

So. Bit of a public confessional.

I’ve moved for work, but waiting to *actually* earn. In the meantime, my significant other has returned (currently flying) home to be with cats (always planned this way, will FIFO when organised & resourced).

But…mum died last week. I thought I was over it…⅓
