An American-made hunger crisis. A worsening cholera epidemic.

Our reporters journeyed to some of the places most devastated by Trump’s dismantling of foreign aid.

They spoke to hundreds of people who witnessed and experienced how political appointees cut programs in arbitrary ways:

20+ hrs after the Trump admin was supposed to disburse $200M withheld from the Hudson River tunnel project, “there is no sign of a wire transfer of any money,” the NJ and NY AGs say in a new filing, requesting an emergency status conference this afternoon

Of all the women, men & children assaulted, stolen, and caged by ICE so far, only 14% are actually dangerous criminals.

I guess the other 82% are abused to keep citizens frightened and weak... or simply to satisfy MAGAt's lust for cruelty.
When people are afraid to go to work, afraid to shop, or afraid to gather in their community, it hurts families, neighborhoods, and our entire economy.

If you can, show up for a small business and let’s continue to show the nation what it means to respond with care and decency.

For the first time, crickets from Donald Trump.

After losing in court multiple times to Illinois and other states, the National Guard was finally quietly pulled out of our streets.

The pressure is working, and we’ve got to keep at it.
National Guard troops were quietly withdrawn from some U.S. cities
The deployments encountered repeated legal setbacks that stymied President Donald Trump’s show of force in Los Angeles, Chicago and Portland, Oregon.

As a (long ago) former prosecutor, I agree and support this.
Time for Democratic officials to petition the state bar of each DOJ lawyer who works on these BS cases to be disbarred. These prosecutors know the case is "not supported by probable cause." That is grounds for disbarment. Time to take the fight to the corrupt DOJ!
