Behind this mask is an idea. And ideas are bulletproof.

"I can't go now, I have a performance tonight!"

"It's canceled. Because of a death :)"

Oooooh okay. Man, that distinction is almost imperceptable.

What's going on with Harley's legs?

It's actually miraculously solid, even does some stuff better than main trilogy. But you can definitely feel corners being cut in places, like how the fast travel cutscene of leaving the Batcave is just tail end of the opening cutscene, repeated.

Revisiting Batman: Arkham Origins for more or less the first time in a decade. I have a few observations:

One: Despite being officially unsupported on Steam Deck, it actually runs perfectly well on it.

Two: you can really SEE the seams of this game's rushed development.

Was a little worried about Absolute Batman after the last issue, but I did still like today's.

Attempted to make Sister Evangeline from MARK OF FAITH in Mass Effect

Hopefully I can make something a little closer in ME2 or 3, as I can't give her white hair, nor that distinct of a facial scar

Listening to the Adeptus Ridiculous episode on Sandy Mitchell's FOR THE EMPEROR has me thinking about fancasts for Ciaphas Cain again, and how all the actors I'd want to see as Cain are all too middle-aged (Rowan Atkinson, Bruce Campbell)

But here's a thought: Daniel Radcliffe as Cain.

Wish they would make a AA soulslike Saint Celestine game to get more people excited about the Sisters of Battle

are they soft-launching female space marines

That said...I'm REALLY wanting to read that Saint Celestine and the Inquisitor novel, OUR MARTYRED LADY by Gav Thorpe, which I hear is real good and also features the great Catherine Tate (y'know, Donna Noble) as said Inquisitor. But I don't have that one yet. Maybe next Audible credit.

Next on my list, out of novels I already own, is probably FIRST AND ONLY, the first Gaunt's Ghosts novel by Dan Abnett. Aside from that, I also have the last two Guy Haley Blood Angels novels, the second Horus Heresy book FALSE GODS, and a few other odds and ends.

Finished MARK OF FAITH, which is definitely in the running for my favorite WH40K novel. Great narration (both the prose and the audio performances) that really get you into the heads of the POV characters.

I should read Batman: Dark Patterns. Do we have a date for when the first TPB comes out?

Hayden Sherman's art really speaks to me.

Listening to more of Rachel Harrison's MARK OF FAITH (a 40k Sisters of Battle novel, reportedly one of the best) has me wanting to make a Sister Evangeline version of Commander Shepard and do a Mass Effect playthrough like that.

Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember her, you are not alone...unless it's Oct 3rd.

"I should get back to Persona 3 Portable, I'm really excited to meet Aigis"

*reads that you don't actually meet Aigis for the first time until like 30 hours in*

...maybe not

Wait, no, Yomi's after Scar apparently? Either way, I'll figure something out.
stuartmwilke.bsky.social
Maybe quickly do the 2003 Usewell episode before Scar, so we properly introduce Yomi so he doesn't come out of nowhere later?

It's now October 3rd, so tonight I'm gonna start Fullmetal Alchemist with the missus.

My plan? Do Brotherhood. Skip episode 1, start with episode 3 (Liore, where the manga and 2003 show start), go back to episode 2 (the flashback, immediately after Liore in the manga/2003), then forward.
