Perhaps this will remind the people of Indiana when they DID have Democratic US Senators and US Representatives? I know,
I know. But dammit I hope this pisses off the entire state.

If you need to understand what's happening, this farce is a perfect place to begin.

A broken, unhappy man is being given a fake award he doesn't deserve by a corrupt group looking to bribe him and earn favors. It's meaningless, everything he wants, and it won't matter to him within an hour.
this shit is just beyond parody, man

Keep filming ICE kidnappings. It's one thing to know your partner or parent took a job with DHS for the bonus. It's another to see on social media what they actually do at work.
That's why we need to shame them into quitting. Historically - that's the tipping point between oppression of a people and and end to a regime. If the "dear leader" can't depend on his own gestapo...then he has nothing.

The irony, of course, is that even when Patel wears the raid jacket, people still look at each other and ask, "Who is this dipshit?"
By contrast, Patel favors a tactical jacket that says "FBI." Sam Stein at The Bulwark reports that Patel allegedly wouldn't disembark the plane in the aftermath of the Kirk assassination without wearing an FBI raid jacket, which he borrowed from an agent.

I am really tired of things being "enhanced with AI" just so companies can say their product is enhanced with AI, while adding no real value.
This is stunningly good reporting by two bylined reporters and six credited researchers, and it's undermined throughout by links to an "Ask the Post AI" that delivers insipid answers to its own contrived prompts under the guise of "More context on this article"

NYT throws a block while Pete Hegseth tries to slip up the sideline.
2. "The officials clarified the sequence of events amid ... uproar that has followed a report in The Washington Post last week."

This is an all-too-common shitting-on-another-paper's-exclusive move. It's also crediting the Hegseth PR statements as fact with that "clarified" language.

Fentanyl is not coming from Venezuela, and he knows that, but it's beside the point that you can't pardon drug runners and then tell people you care about stopping drug runners.
Van Orden: "You gotta understand that average Americans do not care about these narcoterrorists at all. They care about the fact that their brothers & sisters and mothers and husbands have died of fentanyl overdoses. That's what we really truly care about. We care about our fellow American citizens"

The "10 percent for the big guy" critics are pretty quiet about Trump helping Russia to skirt sanctions in exchange for a cut of frozen assets.
Surprise! The “peace plan” is really just a plan for Trump, Witkoff, Don Junior and their friends to get rich.

Everything is a grift. (And the Hunter hunters are silent)

The myth of that a bunch of young hackers can solve any problem was debunked by DOGE. But the larger moral stain is that this was a heist.

Cost saving was a cover story to shutdown investigations into Elon’s companies, steal government data and engage in genocide by proxy via killing USAID.

When police agencies tout "less lethal" weapons, they're saying it might not kill you immediately, but you still might die from your injuries.

Holy shit, more like this, please. Nobody who serves in this administration is qualified or fit for the responsibilities required.
Gallego to Hegseth: "You will never ever be half the man that Sen. Kelly is. You, sir, are a coward. And the fact that you are following this order from the president shows how big of a coward you are. I can't wait until you are no longer the secretary of defense."

This was the correct response. She's resigning because she fears elements within her own party, not because she sympathizes with democrats on anything.
CNN: In the last couple of weeks or so, she's become kind of an ally on some issues. What do you make of this?

Auchincloss: No, John, she hasn't.

Spies! Spies everywhere, Patriots! Always spying for you, the Real Americans™️. Believe me. Please? Please believe me about the civilian anti-deep-state spy network that will protect the reputations of wealthy abusers... George Washington! Freedom!
Dont worry patriots, good ol' George knew the 47th president would be attacked by facts & reality related to his long relationship with depraved pedo Jeffrey Epstein. So c'mon all you Digital Soldiers and/or Citizen Journalists, it's time to trust the plan [again] to cover up for elite pedophiles! 😆

Kids who just voted for the first time a few weeks ago have never known anything different from the current bullshittery. But they definitely know about the Epstein files.
I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here
