Roasting your friends is weird! Don't be weird! It's one thing to joke around, but if you have to do "epic vulgar roasts" you're probably a big loser!
Elon Musk claims Grok's "epic vulgar roasts" can "make people really laugh at a party" so I took him up on it and used my coworkers as guinea pigs: www.wired.com/story/elon-m...
Elon Musk Said Grok’s Roasts Would Be ‘Epic’ at Parties—So I Tried It on My Coworkers
It went about as well as you’d expect.

Really wild situation here: a celebrated and well-regarded indie dev and publisher is facing shutdown because Valve banned their game from Steam and won't talk to them about it, at all.

The Super Saiyan 3 theme somehow ended up on my YouTube music playlist, and now I feel like I can fight God while doing some JOURNALISM
November 24, 2025 at 9:14 PM
I've had so many editors that shaped me into the writer I am today. The articles you read are direct result of the teachings of some of my favorite people. For example, @halophoenix.bsky.social and @elisefavis.bsky.social were the first to REALLY adopt my accessibility writing as a freelancer!
By the way, it's National Editor Appreciation Day.

Nobody ever reads a great article and thinks, "Dang, that was some tight editing." But editing is a big part of how it got to be great.

So writers, if you've ever worked with a good editor, shout 'em out.

I'm deeply honored that I am once again nominated for the Best Journalism Award for GA Conf! Especially honored that the story chosen was my AbleGamers report, a difficult investigative piece. Feel free to vote below, as well as read the nominated story:

One of my best friends made me write an accessibility review of the Switch in the college newspaper. Six months later, it won second place in the Keystone Press Awards. Now, you can't get rid of me
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

Literally me once a year
Nothing will radicalize the average person more than being denied a prescription by health insurance.

I understand budgets are tight, especially this time of year, but once again putting out there that I'm open for freelancing and (hopefully) full-time work! I'm also available to speak on podcasts for end-of-the-year discussions!

I know, I know, Discourse is bad and all that. Can I just take ONE minute to vent? This year's Innovation in Accessibility Award represent the same issue EVERY year with TGA – it's ALWAYS AAA games that have the best marketing.

Our beloved Alice Wong has joined the ancestors. It was one of the great honors of my life to call Alice my friend, co-author & co-conspirator. She was a true genius, a force of nature the likes of which the world has never seen before. I love you, Alice, and am equal parts grateful and devastated

An absolute tragic loss in the disability community. Alice was one of the strongest voices we've had, and this world will not be the same without her guidance, especially during these times.
Heartbroken to hear of @sfdirewolf.bsky.social ‘s transition to be a crip anscestor AND feeling so honored to have been alive in the time as this brilliant human, and gotten to learn from her.

May her memory continue to always be a blessing.

ICYMI – Accessibility extends far beyond options in a menu. It's a cultural movement, one that is perfectly exemplified by the behaviors of Xbox and PlayStation. Read about the past five years here:

I've been professionally critiquing and reporting on accessibility and disability for over six years. So how do you quantify what's happened in this industry since 2020? Read my latest essay for @polygon.com here:

Years ago, before the release of the PlayStation Access Controller, I commissioned a company to make me an accessible PS5 controller. I designed the placement of the buttons etc to suit my needs. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me! Why are they now selling this exact design on their website??
