Nothing like RFK Jr's nonsense to make you feel awkward. Over the years, I have come to appreciate and celebrate my autistic-ness, and it really sucks to continually see headlines that imply that being like you is devastating or the worst thing that can happen to someone.

There is more people being diagnosed autistic because more research about autism is available, there is more tests available than before and still becoming more accessible, people are realizing they've been undiagnosed for years, etc.

It is not fair to autistic kids or adults when the media focuses on "how hard autism makes families’ lives," as these stories make autism stigma worse—instead of raising awareness about how better to include and accommodate autistic people as fellow humans.

Republican senators tucked language into the tax bill that passed the Senate today that makes it easier for people to get gun silencers and certain types of guns.
