This is a lawless law enforcement officer who has been reprimanded repeatedly by federal judges for violating the law. He has ZERO credibility.

He has no business commenting on a federal court case where DOJ is misusing the weight of the entire govt resources to go after one man as a scapegoat.

Terrible headline. This is about erasing the past and a far more complex and diverse history. It’s a war on reality, which “wokeness” has apparently come to represent. Inclusion, acknowledgment, evidence-based narrative. If that’s “woke,” waging “war” on it is a game for the willfully ignorant.

The anti-Semitic mass shooting in Australia will cause a national conversation and policy change. We know this because the 1996 Port Arthur massacre led to significant restrictions on guns.
The shooting at Brown will do nothing. We know this because it occurred on the anniversary of Sandy Hook.

A reminder that most Americans who are life-long citizens have nothing OTHER than a Real ID to prove their citizenship. This is CBP’s chief enforcer saying that ID doesn’t count.
Bovino, the man overseeing mass deportations, publicly declared that we must all have our papers on us, at all times, or we could be stopped, harassed, kidnapped, and detained, as they did with the man in this case, who is a US citizen.

What is the legal authority for ICE to say that valid IDs and passports are not sufficient vectors of identification and that they are allowed only to rely on databases that they have created with out any legal authority? This decision, my friends, seems to be a major question left to Congress?
The government has decided, with no basis other than feeding its new tech, that our biometrics are only IDs that count.

We need one voice, like Justin’s on economics, that is clearly spoken, funny, and omnipresent in the media, focused on the state of public health and healthcare.
Powell looks deeply worried. And so I conclude that "either something's going wrong with the economy or something's going wrong with his Botox."

This. This was the formative event of my generation & our entire politics in 🇺🇸. The structural break after which we were no longer a full democracy, when 5 Wizards In Robes decided they were a super-legislature & counting all the actual votes didn’t matter. The rest has been 25 years of commentary.
25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.

Some people speaking during the ACIP public comment section are showing their true colors by calling Hepatitis B infection "a disease of junkies, gays, and promiscuous heteros".

It is unconscionable that they have CHOSEN to continue using it as their primary social media platform.
it should probably be a bigger story that the richest man on earth and leading Republican is a fucking Nazi

media needs to stop beating around the bush. this is Nazi shit.
